Igor Tudor, the interim Tottenham Hotspur boss, has endured a disastrous first managerial stint in the Premier League. He has lost his first three games at the helm against London rivals Arsenal, Fulham and Crystal Palace. The 3-1 home loss to Crystal Palace was Tottenham’s 14th defeat of the Premier League season, 11 of those coming under former boss Thomas Frank. The Lilywhites, winless in the league in 2026, currently sit one point above the relegation zone, and with just nine games remaining this season, time is running out for Igor Tudor. After overseeing three back-to-back defeats, the Croatian tactician has been called out by the Spurs fanbase, certain former players and pundits . They have seen enough to come to the conclusion that the 47-year-old is not suitable for the role to help the club out of the crisis. The supporters showed their disgust by leaving the stadium half empty before the second 45 minutes even began against Crystal Palace. Gary Lineker urges former club Tottenham to appoint Harry Redknapp for the remainder of the season Gary Lineker has urged his former club to do something “mad” and re-appoint Harry Redknapp as their manager until the end of the season. The English pundit wants the North Londoners to end their Tudor experiment and hire the veteran tactician to save the club from relegation. “Honestly, I don’t think it would be a bad idea to bring someone like Harry Redknapp in. Not someone like [him], but Harry Redknapp,” Gary Lineker said on the latest episode of the Rest is Football podcast . “I know it sounds a bit mad and he’s been out of the game for a while, but you know what he’s like, that big personality, lifting everybody in a moment of crisis. A little bit like Martin O’Neill’s done on a couple of occasions at Celtic and lifted them.” Lineker is not the first pundit to want to see Redknapp back at Spurs. TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has also suggested that Tottenham need to make a call to the 79-year-old immediately to save their season. Last week, Redknapp insisted he’d be willing to step in and help Tottenham avoid relegation, although he does not expect a call from his former club. Redknapp has a reputation for being a strong man-manager, someone who knows how to get the best out of the resources available at his disposal. Of course, there will be concerns that the Englishman has been out of management since leaving Birmingham City in 2017, but the Lilywhites just have nine league games left, which has to be treated like a final. Things have certainly gone beyond tactics now. What Spurs need is confidence, organisation and leadership on the pitch. And Redknapp could just be the man to bring the house in order and get our club out of the danger zone. This article first appeared on To The Lane And Back and was syndicated with permission.
